Church Services

PASCHA 2004 VESPERS - The Vesper Service Was Celebrated on April 11, 2004, at 3:00 PM. Pascha is So Great
a Holy Day in the Orthodox Church That It Is Celebrated for a Period of Three Days. The Afternoon Vesper
Service Is for the Second Day of Pascha Known as Bright Monday. The Service Incorporates
a Procession - the Fourth Procession of the Holy Day Weekend (Processions Inside and Outside of the Church
on Good Friday and Outside the Church on Saturday Night Preceded This Procession).

Weather Forecasters Predicted Rain for This Day and the Three Following Days.
However, Orthodox People are a Hearty Stock and the Light Showers Did Not Deter
the Start or Progress of the Procession.

In the Photos Above and Below We See the Septet Choir of Men Who
Sang the Responses to the Vesper Service.

This Service Saw a Preponderance of Families in the Parish Gathered for Worship.
In the Photo Immediately Below, We See the "First Family" of Our Church.

Below Are Pictured Six Additional Families of Our Parish in Random Order.
